In any case, I’m sorry about this initial diagnosis and am HUGELY PROUD OF YOU (yes, I’m shouting from the rooftops!!!) for your sobriety. You did what my mother and brother didn’t do. You walked away from booze and have already outlived them by 12 years. Do not despair.

(Not sure this is appropriate to include at all, but, my friend’s friend was a hard-living alcoholic for years and is said to have healed her liver with milk thistle. Have you done any reading about that plant??)
