Some more than others for sure, but this quote comes to mind:

It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
Jiddu Krishnamurti

In a two-party system, to have one party go totally off the rails, in the meanest & nastiest ways possible, is alarming. It's alarming that only a handful of GOP politicians will speak out against the cancer that is consuming their party. And for us, the constituency, to have family & friends who still support this party is—bewildering. IMO, unless one is a never-trumper, then republican voters support all the shit that is now the Republican Party. How do you reconcile that with "decent people?"

That said, we've had wonderful sunny weather, but with lots of wind. Today, however seems to be nice, so we're going for a walk. That always helps my spirits. I've also found that music lifts my spirits, so try putting on some of your fave tunes. And I like watching movies. Pick some feel-good movies. And snacks. Don't forget snacks.
