18. She's a therapist at the local CHAS clinic. I needed a new primary care guy after my NP split town.

On my walk, going through our local community college, a couple of their staff were setting up a booth for student orientation. I didn't know what they were about for sure, just that they evidently serviced low income people. I figured at least for that, I could see who they would hook me up with.

I got an actual doctor. Since I was filling out the paperwork and they asked about depression and anxiety, I decided it was time to answer yes. My new doc saw that and asked if I'd like to be referred to a therapist. They have a man and woman there seeing people for behavior health. It's a new thing. I kind of think it's helpful that they have another paying patient. Even if it turns out it's not all that helpful to me, maybe I help them establish it and it's good for others.
