I really like my new therapist.
My old therapist was not a good match at all. I just couldn't trust her. And she always had a wafting stink of smugness and conservatism around her without her openly saying it even though I asked her directly and said I needed to know if I was gonna work with her. Plus she knew nothing about treating my disorders at least when I asked her she admitted she didnt know how to treat my sort of disorder.
My new therapist is genuine she really does not play games or give me new age bullshit. She does not have the stench of conservatism and she seems to be on the same page politically. I think this is going to be a good therapeutic relationship.
She remarked I was intelligent and I got into why it hurts to be. I usually dont want to talk about it. I feel better after talking to her about it.
And she's okay with my fidget toys!!
Pretty good for a 2nd session.
