(10,252 posts)This is the perfect time to learn something important about yourself. Have you ever tried meditating? It's really very easy. You just sit comfortably in a chair and pay attention to your breathing. If your mind wanders, and it will, bring attention back to your breathing. A lot of thoughts and feelings will arise in your mind. Don't follow them. Just let them arise and be replaced with another thought and another and another. Eventually, you will discover that thoughts and feelings are not real solid things. You can't weigh them on a scale.
A 15 minute meditation is a lot for a beginning meditator. Focusing on your breathing is supposed to help you relax and be a little better at dealing with whatever you are experiencing. Cheers and good luck.
