My doctor said that it has proven to work throughout 40 years of testing. The theory is that migraines are genetic, women get them more often and it is considered a brain disease and a genetic defect. There is a chemical in our body that accumulates and we can't get rid of it. It activates the nerve to the head and it sends out pain. As I wrote before, when I recently had a very high fever and the flu for two weeks the migraines came back for some reason. I will have to mention that to my doctor when I get the next round of injections next week. I hope the Botox provides relief...the suffering makes a person have no quality of life.
