Except he didn't see a psychiatrist. Even when he was hospitalized, all he got was a psychiatric clinical nurse. The care plan named a psychiatrist he never met and a meeting with a care team before he was discharged that never happened. He saw his primary care and neurologist and got here. He is open to seeing a psychologist though. But he is an adult and gets to decide. What's different is that he is still on my insurance but had to sign a release of information. But the coverage is excellent. I am glad I switched jobs. It's just another step for him.
