(23,232 posts)13. Last November when I found out my mom was accepted on Hospice, which
means they believe that she had less then 6 months to live I went into a big depression.
I went to a psychiatric hospital that does ECT and let me tell you it was a miracle! I literally felt relief after the first treatment, (though I think most people need more than one to feel relief).
I know a lot of people freak out about ECT but I did it because over the years I've met several people who did it and they all said it was wonderful.
Sending you positive vibes right now though.
