(23,026 posts)56. The driving restriction is just for the day of the ECT and that's because they have to
put you to sleep. It's the same gig where you can't eat after 12am or so and also if you take Klonopin or anything like it you have to stop the day before as they could hinder you having a seizure, which is what you want.
I started at the end of Nov. and it went longer than 4 weeks because I had to cancel some appointments for lack of transportation. But I had about 5 of them as an inpatient.
