9. My son, too, lost his job because of the coronavirus

He was the manager of a physical therapy office and they had to let everyone go because they couldn't accept patients.

This crisis is going to ripple through our economy. That's why Trump is panicking and wants to send people back to work even if it means worsening the spread of the disease.

Consider the business I work in, entertainment. Broadway has closed down, idling actors musicians, stagehands, ushers and more. Then there are those ancillary workers who are affected: restaurants, hotels, taxis, agents and managers and more. That's thousands of people who can't work right now.

Then consider that California is basically shut down. That means that all television and motion picture productions are shut down. That's tens of thousands of more people who can't work.

Then extrapolate the same ripple effects throughout all the other industries in our country (and the world) and we're looking at a tremendous crashing of the economy.

Trump doesn't care if people get sick or die. He needs to hold onto power and continue his grifting.
