but my surname has some overlap with Germany. I believe it’s coincidental.

The genealogist of my family was a former sister-in-law. I don’t know who took up the mantle.

a distant relative was instrumental in a well known corporation

another relative was a military officer that my father admired.

a lot of information is lost compared to other DU genealogy enthusiasts.
