I don't know anything about air conditioners or fuses for them, but my husband is an electrician and he says to make sure all the power is disconnected before you try to pull that fuse. A friend of ours, who is also an electrician and should have known better, did that very thing a few months ago and it flashed. He lost almost all the skin on his hands and is lucky that's all that happened.
