Sian gave me a most unappreciated fright, this morning

I went through an hour of complete panic when she didn't show up for breakfast. That has never before happened before. I called and called to her and looked EVERYWHERE. Under every single piece of furniture, no matter how little clearance there was beneath it. Even behind closed doors and on top of cabinets. Repeatedly. I stopped, briefly, to have a panic attack, terrified that she had some unknown malady and it had suddenly taken her because of course, my mind went to the worst possible scenario.

,As a desperate last resort I thought, maybe if I just shake the treat jar. VOILA! She suddenly appeared. I still have NO idea where she was hiding. Probably in plain sight but anxiety and panic can be blinding. She's fed and I'm already exhausted.

She did look contrite when I picked her up.
