that *rump is more analogous to Yeltsin than Putin.

Yeltsin was tied to the bottle while *rump is tied to his vainglorious narcissism, as for leadership; both are major shortcomings in seeing the big picture of how policies and actions affect the overall people or the entirety of a nation.
