Also, in this case, because a police officer was involved, it wouldn't even count if the CC had to shoot 2 or 3 of the assailants.

I doubt the story anyway as after reading the anti-gun comments here I'm convinced that any CC in the nation would take the opportunity given by saving a cop to gun down a couple of dozen of assailants in a gun humping, multi magazine feeding, rampage.
