A person who does not respect my property will not respect my life.

The *ITEM* isn't worth killing over. Eradicating vermin such as burglars, muggers and carjackers is completely justified in my view.

ASK me for it and I just might give it to you, try to take it and you can die of a gaping chest wound; the distinction, both legally and morally, is absolutely clear, at least to me.
