I've been a progressive since McGovern. I've marched and phone banked for 35 years.

Someone ASKS me for money, help, maybe even an extra guitar or bass I'm likely to help out, cheerfully. Try to take it by force and the rules change. To me the distinction is completely unambiguous.

It is not YOUR call as to what is a 'Democratic or progressive ideal' for anyone but yourself, you don't get to define that for me any more than I do for you.

I have friends who think as you do. They have a right to regard their property as they will. I have a right to defend my life, liberty or property by any means necessary and will assert that right as I see fit.
