...simple, SecMo. Our Party needs to turn away from it's regressive prohibitionist stance and adopt a true progressive PRO 2nd Amendment stance and this nonsense would stop immediately. The NRA is a single issue organization, and if Dems supported gun rights, they'd (and do, if they are pro 2nd) have the support of the NRA and probably a good chunk of the single issue pro 2nd voters. Gun prohibitionism is a losing strategy.
