was AG under Bush the Lesser. After dutifully taking the classes, passing the written and shooting (Lord have mercy) tests, they told us what to put on the application as a reason for wanting the license: To demonstrate responsibility.

I would have thought you had to be responsible BEFORE you got the license, but nooooo.
