4. Correlation/causation? I thought that NRA/ILA dodge had run it's course.

There is a difference. Correlation means that if this (more guns) we can expect that (more gun violence). Causation is proving that any one incident (a homicide) can be directly linked to any one change in circumstance (gun entering the system).

So yeah, if there are more guns there will be more gun violence. There is a correlation, we agree.
