2. I wish we deserved it.

The Second Amendment is a pretty daring grant of rights and freedoms. We are probably about the last country that should have such permissive guarantees. Our people are too violent, too reckless, too hateful. Instead of working toward deserving our freedom to have firearms, we seem intent on killing each other. We are so pathetic.
