300,000 signatures delivered to FCC on Charter-TimeWarner merger [View all]

Thought this would be worth sharing.

Don't have link but I believe it should be on Common-Cause.org.

As a former media person who does keep an eye on this stuff, I just received e-mail from CC that over 300,000 signatures were delivered to the FCC to stop the Charter-TimeWarner merger. I probably should be posting this in GD, but nonetheless, I'm updating you guys anyway.

And not to be political in this forum, but this (IMO) is another reason we need Bernie in the W.H. I am so saddened that we do not have diversity on the air or on cable-just the same corporate dribble about crap. No real news or information. If you are truly sick of the corporate crap we see and hear day in and day out, this is another reason to "feel the Bern."

Then maybe we can have a real democracy that informs the people-and not making them dumber.

I suppose there is still an opportunity to call the FCC and tell them to oppose this merger. If you can, do it.

Thank you.
