6. Here is a letter to send to the Chief of Staff, US Army:

May 2021

General James C. McConville
Chief of Staff, US Army
200 Army Pentagon
Washington, DC 20310-0200

General McConville:

Under the provisions of USC β 688(B)(1) I request that Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn, U.S. Army (Retired) be recalled to active duty and charged with sedition under Article 94 UCMJ(a)(2), and, 18 USC Chapter 15, Section 2384.

Specifically, LTG Flynn advocated a military coup to reverse the results of the November 2020 Presidential election. In a public forum held on Sunday, May 30, 2021, in Dallas, LTG Flynn was asked by an audience member: “I wanna know why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?”

"What happened" in Myanmar was a well-known military coup that overthrew the elected civilian government and has resulted in the deaths of over 700 people.

“No reason,” Flynn responded. “It should happen!"

I understand that LTG Flynn has the same freedom of speech rights as all Americans, however, as a retired senior Army officer, he does not have the right to promote a military coup to overthrown a duly-elected civilian government.

LTG Flynn’s conduct in this matter reflects dishonor on the United States Army and seriously degrades the image of the Army in the eyes of the nation. His conduct is reminiscent of Benedict Arnold and coup plotters in autocratic nations. LTG Flynn’s conduct should no longer be tolerated and he must be held responsible for his actions.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Respectfully,
