Rowing where have you been all my life , I discovered running at U BENNING a play on higher education my old alma mater June 1984 A-10-2 Harmony church no sand Hilton dash one , besides pull up push ups mt climbers sit ups leg lifts dying cock roach take your pick on torture. And in jump school dont even think about walking anywhere and unfortunately In 82nd 325th our company commander was a marathon runner uuugh those mornings with a hangover and PT. Oh fuck after a five miler the CO is heading to obstacle course to finish the run dam I should have been a coastie or stopped drinking at 0300 instead of 0400.
After my discharge in 87 I still ran and worked out , so our sons in gym class started rowing and turned dad onto it. Now I have seen people rowing at the gym I usually hit treadmill for a run especially in winter. Then go and lift or do what I mentioned above that I learned at U BENNING. No pollock master sgt calculus was not a option
So I noticed at times my knee is starting to hurt become really sore at 52 after a run. So I started rowing and it is awesome workout vets, our sons and I row together other day I had to stop and hit the bathroom why because I probably have 2 million miles union driver on my bladder. I heard about it from our two 14 year olds when I came back to rowing machine. Hey dad you a candy ass cant you hang, I whipped the guys with my towel and said get on it. Were Vikings we have to get this long ship up river to sack a monestary their always trying to out do dad no compassion from them , so just letting you know vets who still like to work out.
