It had to happen sometime. [View all]

I just finished Michael Connelly's Blood Work. It is a great story. I thought I was reading it for the 1st time. I read over 200 pages as though it was new to me and then something clicked. "That's familiar, am I having deja vu from a novel?" As I continued to read there were a few other things that told me I had read this book. At the end it was like I was remembering as I read. Really strange. This did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. I often reread books after a time because I see things in a different light or somethings stand out where before did not. One thing of interest is the brief mention of Michael Haller- the Lincoln Lawyer. He doesn't get any action in the story but his name is there. I like the way Connelly connects his various LA people together.
