9. a really good read reveals

something new on each read, imo... some phrase, insight, clue that may have been glossed over or not understood first time around

I'm a big fan of Connelly and have most if not all of his books, he pays homage to Robert Crais in one (can't recall at this moment) to the detective Elvis Cole where they pull up to a 4-way stop and throw signs to each other... you wouldn't get it unless you'd read both authors...

Bosch and Holler are involved in at least 3 different books, maybe more?
I guess I'll need to reread a few ...
