What is this about a misspelled banana? Anything can come into the discussion, just throw it out there. That is the whole point.
And no, don't make peace. Don't battle either, but stick to your gut feelings about it. That is what I like, different views. And who knows, by the end of the book, I may be right there with you in my opinions. You know how that goes---as you find out more about a character, you change your initial opinion. It happens.
If you feel like you are posting for too long, you can so less summarizing what we have read---although I am sure that Little Star will be disappointed at not having a review. I am amazed at how much you remember about that has happened in the chapters. Much of it seems to go into my brain and right out again as just fluff. I think I am more of a "how did the chapter make me feel" type. Your reviews remind me of things that I had dismissed, but you can cut it down if it is taking too much time.
Sometimes this feels like that book reports we had to do in school, doesn't it?
