that there was going to be a disaster. It wasn't as bad as I expected though, thank god. I think that the fact that Cyprian was the one who was able to get in there and save Markus will weigh on Fidelis. To have saved the life of someone's child is huge. I am sure that your personal experience would have made that part of the book more terrifying!

It is predictible that Cyprian would be able to recognize feelings toward Delphine from Fidelis. Delphine doesn't admit it, or think that is the case, but she doesn't see it. Fidelis is not admitting it, but he doesn't want to...it would make his life too difficult to admit that he loved her. But I can see Cyprian realizing this. I don't think that he thinks anything is going on....he just sees the feelings that Fidelis has.

Well, I have lots more to summarize----I have been reading a lot!
