1. I'd never noticed authors doing this...

Baldacci was a first for me. But then again, maybe I just never looked. Once I noticed that Baldacci left those notes sometimes, I began to always look for them. As of this date I've not run across another author who does but you can bet that I will always look for them now that I know.

I hope others here, who know of authors that 'like to tell you tales after the tale is done' will join in. It would be interesting to see how many authors do this.
