Finishing "The Absolutist," a World War I novel by John Boyne -- a very unassuming story on its face, yet is powerful read concerning morality and ethics (both in terms of war and sexuality) in the trenches.

Toward the middle of "The Stand," uncut version. It's nice to have a book that I can pick up, read a little, and come back to.
