The beginning, "The Cat Who Could Read Backwards."
The relaunch of the series, "The Cat Who Saw Red."
The beginning of the "Moose County" series, "The Cat Who Played Post Office."

Each of them is a good jumping on point since they mark major changes in tone. You can start at any point without having read anything before, but the books right after each are better if you read the ones before.
