The Other Woman [View all]

by Hank Phillippi Ryan

The main character is an investigative reporter named Jane Ryland who was recently fired from Channel 11 because the station lost a lawsuit against an owner of grocery stores where she didn't reveal her house and quickly picked up by a newspaper.

Her first investigation is checking to see if the ex-governor is having an affair and while that is going on, women are being found dead under a bridge.

This is one of the best mysteries I've ever read, a lot of twists and turns and these kind of twists come from left field. The kind you don't see coming. I also have never seen so many cliffhangers in a book. One chapter ends with Moira asking, "Was he with the other woman?". You don't find out the answer til two more chapters. I highly recommend this book.

One thing though if you do read it, just something that confused me because the main character was confused. Kenna Wilkes & Holly Neff are different people, the part where I got confused is she is looking at pictures of Holly Neff but certain it is Kenna Wilkes in the pictures. She is a reporter so you can imagine what can go wrong there.
