2. I bought a physical copy of this book

and I'm having a lot of trouble getting past the very bad formatting: too narrow margins. Paragraphs that are not indented but have a space between. In normal books, a break between paragraphs shows a change in time or place, and it throws me off completely in a hard copy.

I hate to say it, but this is exactly why I so dislike buying self-published books. I made an exception with this one but would not have bought it had I realized it was going to have the bad formatting. I haven't even been able to get far enough to be able to comment on the narrative itself.
