2. It has been a sad 6 months

We had the long decline of WCGreen who was a treasure. Now xchrom and JackpineRadical who left us so suddenly. The fact that so many here have been touched by these great minds shows that DU is a real community. These 3 will be sorely missed as will others who have gone without a word as to why. Some of us have health issues that are quite severe, I'm thinking now of our labor giant, OmahaSteve, but others cope with chronic afflictions. The compassion that our DU sisters and brothers show when one of us is in trouble, sick or died is proof of a great character that belies the scabbles.

May our brothers and sisters who have shared so much wisdom with us, rest in peace. And my their astute thoughts live on in us.
