A couple/ few days ago on NPR a host (Mara Liaison, Terry Gross???) was interviewing an author.
I do not know if this was a replay or a new interview.
The book had a "letter" enclosed that finished the story in the book. The subject matter was described at least once as comparable to steampunk. It was set in the future I believe.
The book was also available electronically, but the author had his reservations about that because the e-version did not have the tactile qualities of a true book.
The book sounded very interesting but i can't find it anywhere! Thanks for any help.
