"The Freak" is back! Timmy Lincecum signed a one year contract with the Rangers [View all]
The scrawny freaky SF Giants pitcher lost all his stuff after season ending hip surgery in 2015, played one lackluster year with the Angles, then sat out a year. He's back, and rumors are he bulked up to put the surgery behind him, and has found his stuff again. Looks like he will be play from the bullpen after a minor league tune-up tour.

This SF Giants fan misses him, but wishes him the best. Hell, if things go well and he genuinely found his stuff, he could ease back into the starting rotation.
