An excellent hitter, it was a shame he had knee injuries that shortened his career. The DH was started in 1972 which gave Oliva a chance to play this position his final 4 seasons. I am glad to see he made the Hall- he had some outstanding years in the 1960s when pitching dominated and he won his last batting crown in 1971.

I think Dick (Richie) Allen deserves enshrinement , also.
