Ohtani as I don't recall Ruth pitching and hitting at the same time, same games even. That's unprecedented.

Before Ohtani came along, the consensus among most baseball cognoscenti was that Mays was the most complete, 5-tool player ever whose HR total, still quite high, suffered from playing in SF's Candlestick Park where the stiff wind blew in.

I've been a Mays fan for forever but I'm teetering...
