I know when our birds will return in spring and then later in the summer.
Last year there were very few birds and they didn't stay as long as other years.
I know that depending on the bird species their diet can be different from other birds.
We have had declining insect population and odd winter weather has affected wild tree seed production
so that may factor in. I am not "bird savvy" but they are fascinating creatures.
Surprise to me that some birds will mate with other bird species. Cockadoodles I guess.
