know is there are many parents dealing with the same thing. Have had this happen in my sister’s family. She didn’t quit her job because her daughter had problems. She got her help, but until that person is ready to accept that help, not much you can do. When the child is an adult, which my niece was-barley, parents hands are tied. Parents don’t quit their jobs when their kid gets in trouble with drugs. They keep on working and trying to get help for their kid like this coach did. Yes it made me angry about when his adult son hurt that beautiful little girl. He will pay the price by going to prison, just not long enough in my opinion.
