I also hate the way sports casters deify US pro football players. About the only sports writer I ever read is Dave Zirin.

I feel I am much like you. I used to play a little rugby and would sure love to see that, but that is too far out for US tv.

Anyway there are CFL games on CBS sports on Thursday and Saturday although tomorrow's probably will be a blowout - Bombers against the Elks. The Elks really suck this year
