Yes, I'm rooting against Deion [View all]

As somebody adamantly passionate about the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he needs to get over himself, he really does. How can I take him seriously as a leader of 18-to-22-year-old men and somebody who is supposed to be a role model for people in some formidable years when he spews hot garbage like this?

"The Hall of Fame ain't the Hall of Fame no more," Sanders said. "I love it, I respect it, I admire it. I think all the guys who are inducted are definitely deserving, but it needs to be a different color jacket. My jacket's gotta be a different color."

If it were up to Sanders, he would totally revamp the process for getting into the Hall of Fame. The former 49ers and Cowboys star said he would create a top tier of Hall of Famers that would only feature 22 players (11 starters on offense and 11 on defense).

And I got a text from a fellow Canton enthusiast on Wednesday.

"I got more insight into Deion. Apparently he declined to get inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame a few times because he found the inductees in those classes to be beneath him."

Will somebody humble this man, please? If not TCU, then who?

I've got nothing against the players, not at all. It's their coach I can't stand.
