In that case you only need to convince the one person. I don't know enough about how the Packers executives are hired and fired to know if it is more complicated there or not.

I think it is definitely possible that in general a team could pick their veteran, MVP QB over their GM... Not sure if the Packers will in this specific case even aside from the point above.
