It's a whole new game with Tekkit. I'm really enjoying it. The only thing that was kind of annoying was building an effective wind farm. And glass fiber cable is waaaaaayyyy expensive.
For a while my favorite pastime was donning nano armor and jetpack, grabbing a divinig rod and the mining laser and mining the nether. Now I'm sitting on a ton of resources. Also I set up a terraformer in the nether and now it's a quaint green corner.
