2. My youngest will probably want to set up a fire in the pit tonight, but right now it is raining.

She knows how to get a fire going with wet wood (all three do). I'll help if need be, but she's pretty good at it on her own.

I can get a fire going anywhere - and snow makes a great pit for a fire (we don't have any right now, but still). I love the glow.
