A few months after going on the diet, she became pregnant again. She never had a a blood glucose level anywhere close to being high during the pregnancy. Almost everyone who has diagnosed gestational diabetes with one pregnancy gets it the next pregnancy. Probably she had it in the first pregnancy that resulted in stillbirth, but not diagnosed.
