18. COVID did bring a lot more of the wild animals into cities.

So it's partly just coincidence that when I am at that low point, and look up, odds are better that I will see one.

AND Eagles are territorial, so once you have seen one, it's possible you might see it again.

That is the factual, scientific reason.

BUT I am glad even in this modern world something natural like that could get through to me in the midst of all my angst.

Whatever the reason, it's wonderful.
