The antisemitism and racism and Islamophobia and hatred and bigotry and misogyny is always there. Always. Sometimes in the open, sometimes just under the surface. But make no mistake about it. It’s always there. And the filters are now off and these vile creatures feel they are free to express those attitudes publicly. And you know what? They’ll get away with it.
