Are you from the Midwest, by any chance? I've never heard anyone else ever call them by this name! I used to work with my grandma after school, and she always sent me down to the corner pharmacy (where there was a soda jerk) for a couple of 400's for us. I've never had anyone else even know what I was talking about, let alone anyone else ever talk about one! (LOL)
