If I'm not mistaken I believe that most devout Muslims feel one should read the Qur'an in it's original language of the prophet. Since I'm not really a scholar of other languages that would be an insurmountable obstacle for me. Yep, typical English American guy here. I do have some abilities in Spanish after my over a decade living in Miami though.

I'm sure translation loses something for us.

I am not at all surprised one of my fellow MIRT people chose to study the ME at university. I have loved being on MIRT and getting to know others. It's such a great group of people and I feel certain it's a great group of people who do their best to be open and honest to other people.
